Luke Keenan is a 2018 C/1B, 3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Long Island City, NY who attends Shady Side Academy Senior High School. Large build and frame, strength throughout, physicality, and room to continue to refine frame. Primary catcher, gains ground quickly, receives out in front, deep takeaway, and full arm action. Developing arm strength from behind the plate with a workout pop time of 2.19. At the plate, started with an inverted front foot, active hand set and a large leg lift timing mechanism. Short, compact swing plane through the zone, developing timing, and rhythm. Will continue to improve at the plate with additional lower half and timing in swing.
