Max Alba is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Franklin, WI who attends Franklin HS. Tall projected build with some present strength and lots of potential for more. Athletic delivery with good balance and direction, arm works smoothly. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, gets good sinking action, has a feel for locating his fastball to both sides of the plate. Also shows feel for his slider, can vary the shape and work it to spots with good spin and tightness. Very projectable pitcher who should keep getting batter as he gets more mature physically and he already has a feel for pitching. Excellent student, verbal commitment to North Carolina.
