Carson Curry is a 2020 RHP/IF, OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Auburn, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Medium frame with slender, athletic frame; body projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.42 seconds. Primary pitcher, side rocker step into high leg lift, coils back over rubber, good balance and direction to delivery, arm works and repeats, fastball worked 79-82 mph and peaked at 83 mph with flashes of cut. Showed curveball with 12/6 shape and very good depth, potential to be a hammer. Good strikes, competed well. Hits from even based stance with middle-field approach and line drive plane, compact hands, swings it hard with intent to do damage, showed ability to work to all fields. Worked out in the outfield, works through the ball well and shows balance to actions, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Very good student.
