Ellis George is a 2024 3B/RHP, 2B, SS, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Ola. Smaller frame with medium build primary third baseman ran a 7.58 second sixty yard dash. Slightly stiff setup on ground ball approach, but has good hands and lets his athleticism work to make all the plays. Gets the ball out in a hurry with 70 mph throws across the diamond from different arm slots. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a fastball up to 70 mph and curveball in the high-50s. Mechanically sound with a higher leg lift and direct line to the plate. Gets down the hill and fills up the bottom of the zone with quality strikes. Fastball command is a plus with the curveball being the out pitch with big slower break. Right-handed hitter with an athletic swing from a slightly open stance and hands away from his body. Has quick hands through the zone, at times too quick, as he loses the barrel on pitches to the outer third. Stays inside the baseball well with his barrel path, just runs out of bat on away pitches when he is too quick through the zone. Good student with a 3.0 GPA

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
