Riley Stanford is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Gainesville, GA who attends Buford. Big and strong well proportioned athletic build, pretty mature physically. Highest level two-way talent. Prototype right fielder on defense, 6.86 runner in the sixty, showed nice range to the alleys and has one of the strongest throwing arms in the class. Right handed hitter, long and strong swing with big power potential, gets to his front side early and looks to pull and lift the ball. Took a turn on the mound and showed top shelf raw stuff. Throws from a 3/4's arm slot with good extension out front, upper body rotational delivery. Fastball topped out at 97 mph with some diving action down in the zone. Also threw a mid-80's slider with some depth and threw strikes with both pitches. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia Tech. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
