Nathan Smith is a 2021 C/3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Thomasville, GA who attends Thomasville HS. Big and strong athletic build. 7.32 runner, has quick feet and good athleticism behind the plate, gains ground to throw and has some carry, 2.03 best pop time, still young receiving the ball and with glove position. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a big shift into contact, swings with intent and is looking to lift and drive the ball, full swing path, has strength at contact with good extension, ball comes off the barrel hard when squared, made good game adjustments at the plate and showed plate coverage. Very good student.
