Jackson Blank is a 2023 3B/RHP, SS, IF, OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia West. Medium frame, well proportioned, and athletically built. Trim and space for more growth with projection in strength. Two-way abilities and tools with most upside for Pitcher; was one of the top overall players at the event. On the mound shows a simple delivery with the hands staying at the waist on an average front knee lift. Stays tall allowing his back hip to drive him down the hill with easy, controlled actions. Limited effort expelled and quick arm was compact through the 3/4 release, repeating it consistently for both pitches. Lots of swings and misses during his two strong innings with a fastball (up to 86 MPH) that pounded the bottom half of the zone with angle. Curveball was short, late, and tight and showed the ability to bury it into the zone. Defensively showed the actions and athleticism to make plays in the infield. Arm strength was there and accurate to bag. Offensively showed even stance, high back elbow, and simple swing. Gets on plane early in swing and showed quickness in bat able to lift and drive the gaps consistently. The pitching skills have the biggest upside of the plenty of athletic tools.
