Matthew Foster is a 2020 C/3B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Mt Paran Christian. Small and stocky frame. Ran a 7.61 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, squats into a higher set to start, actions play behind the plate, quick exchange but could be more consistent with hands while transferring, quickness to over all mechanics, average and accurate arm behind the dish, 2.08 second best pop time. Secondary third baseman who took reps in the infield, takes short steps to the baseball, gets into a good position to gather the baseball out in front, good balance throughout his actions, fits the mold of a third baseman. Righthanded hitter, bat wraps at load, big leg lift trigger into his swing, could utilize lower half more into the swing, level swing plane with flashes of some quickness to his hands, mostly middle of the field to pull side contact during round. Good student.
