2021 South Top Prospect Games at Texas A&M
Bryce Dwyer is a 2023 C/RHP, 3B, MIF, UT with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Grand Oaks. Dwyer was one of the most impressive overall showings. Primary catcher, his quickness in his mechanics was outstanding. Explosive delivery, his compact arm action has plenty of strength to project on. His flexibility and footwork paired well with quick catch and release actions, he posted a 1.79 pop time in workouts and transferred his easy strength smoothly in game play. On the mound he held his own as well. The right-hander was up to 87 flashing a tight breaking ball. Simple operation, had plenty of feel to work his fastball for strikes and hold a solid outing as an effective secondary arm. Right-handed hitter, he showed off a loud BP round leaving the field with impressive barrel control and bat speed. There is a lot of impact potential present with huge strength upside and a clean swing. Good student, was named to the 2021 South Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
