Danny Scullion is a 2024 C/1B with a 6-1 235 lb. frame from Medford Lakes, NJ who attends Shawnee High School. Large, physical frame with plenty of strength throughout. Recorded a 7.46 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a narrow, side-saddle stance with softness to his hands and a quick, direct midline transfer. Delivered accurate throws to the right side of the bag, while producing arm strength up to 72 mph during drills. Showed his agility and mobility by incorporating a one-knee stance at times, firing out of the crouch with athleticism. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open stance with barrel tip loading mechanism and plenty of separation into launch. Intent based swing with heavy hands, feel for the barrel and easy power through the middle and pull sides of the field. Showed consistent ability to deliver the barrel with authority and swing translates extremely well into game action. Sound defender with huge power potential. Good Student. Named to the 2023 Northeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
