Nicholas Turnage is a 2023 3B/IF/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Haddonfield, NJ who attends Haddonfield Memorial. From Turnage's primary IF spot, he displayed clear zip across the diamond with a big arm action. He flashed a reliable glove and showed the ability to make accurate throws when mechanics were sound. On the bump, Turnage worked with super quick tempo out of the windup with funky movements that made it hard to pick up the ball out of the hand. He used a lower 3/4 arm slot to throw strikes and produce run on the FB up to 77 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow stance with lots of lower half rotation and weight shift to spray line drives from gap to gap. Power potential still has room to develop. Ran a 7.43 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
