Andy Guy is a 2024 C/2B, OF with a 6-0 167 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends The Kinkaid. Primary catcher with an average lena build showing some room to add strength. ran a 7.19 second sixty. Sits square behind the plate with an average crouch. Gets out of the crouch quickly while getting to the throwing position fast with the feet gaining ground toward the target allowing him to make accurate throws with a 1.88 second pop time. Waits back on the ball in the outfield fielding the ball on the side and then ganging ground into the throws with a longer shuffle gather. Showed some carry on the throws while topping out at 83 mph. Right-handed hitter, start with a wider base and high hadn't set. Uses a short stride trigger to stay balanced in the lower half. Showed lots of pop to the pull side with good extension out front and good intent to the bat path with the hands and turn to contact. Good student.
