Ridley Edington is a 2021 OF/MIF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends First Baptist Academy. Smaller athletic build with surprising strength for his size. Right handed hitter, has a nice swing with a short and compact path to the ball, good rhythm and is very well timed, can turn on balls on the inner half with quick hands and some barrel whip, advanced barrel to ball skills. 7.36 runner, as easy athletic actions in the outfield to go with sound fundamentals, easy transition from fielding to throwing, very accurate throws with repeatable footwork. Filled in on the mound to eat some outs, compact arm action with a simple delivery, threw strikes with a mid-70's fastball to go with an 11/5 curveball. Very skilled player with some tools who looks like he can really perform on the field. Good student.
