Dorien Branch is a 2019 OF with a 6-1 176 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Redan HS. Tall and athletic frame with room to project on further. Ran a 7.33 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short strides to the baseball, comes through the baseball working into release with developing actions, average arm strength currently that will improve with proper refinement, took good routes to the baseball that showed up in game. Righthanded hitter, begins swing with a small step forward into contact, wraps bat at load, has barrel whip through the hitting zone, flashed some jump and carry to the pull side gap, can work to both gaps with flashes of pop, could work to get the barrel to the ball more consistently but shows good power potential currently. Good student.
