Huber Perez is a 2020 3B/MIF with a 5-8 149 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Dr. Phillips HS. Small build with broad shoulders, room to fill out physically in young frame with time to do so. Ran a 6.89 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, short steps to the baseball breaking down into gather, should look to charge and attack baseball more in infield, deliberate actions with soft hands, slower transfer with developing arm strength. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a slightly open stance, leg lift trigger that lands slightly still open, slight weight transfer but could still use more of lower half into swing, swing hard with a full barrel path losing balance at times due to over swinging, flashes bat speed, aggressive approach looking to pull for power, displayed spray contact during round. Great student.
