Tyler Colgan is a 2017 LHP with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Davie, FL who attends West Broward High School. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build that projects well physically. Left handed pitcher, used a three quarter arm slot with a tight release and short arm action. Works quickly and throws strikes with good command of his fastball that topped out at 76. Sound mechanics on the mound with an online delivery and minimal effort. Would do well to incorporate lower half more into delivery. Should continue to improve with added strength. Very good student.
