Simon Aluko is a 2020 OF/LHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Allatoona. Large frame with excellent overall physicality, athletic look with lots of strength. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.01 seconds. Clean actions defensively in the outfield, charges well and gets good reads off the barrel, consistent balance to movement patterns, fields cleanly and works through the ball, quick release with arm that works well, clocked up to 90 mph, would be interesting to continue tracking on the mound as well. Hits from spread-based stance with slight crouch, even base, upper body-dominated swing with more stationary lower half, smoothness to stroke, linear path. Very good student.
