Brandon Andal is a 2018 C/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Pembroke Pines Charter HS. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash and moves well down the line coming out of the box. Primary catcher, low set behind the plate, receives the ball out front, sound actions with overall smoothness and repeats them well, quick transfer and release, gains ground with lower half coming out of crouch, nice accuracy to the bag. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slight crouch and high hand set in the box. Short load moving into contact, loads hands back at start of swing, full swing path through the zone, repeats well and shows no problem going the other way and working the opposite field gap, nice overall balance to swing. Excellent student.
