Jaydon Woodward is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Titusville, FL who attends Astronaut HS. Recorded an 8.02 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with some present strength on the build. Primary righthanded pitcher with a short rocker step into a curved leg lift above the belt. Compact arm swing and lands online with some extension and direction toward the plate. Fastball recorded up to 77 mph with short sink on the pitch. Breaking ball showed some two-plane break and 11/5 shape. Higher three-quarters arm slot and flashed a changeup. Arm strength also played well from his secondary position of first base. Righthanded hitter with a toe tap trigger into the stride. Strength off the barrel with an uphill swing path. Full swing path and flashed some raw power to the pull side when squared. Good student.
