Joel Brewer is a 2018 OF/UT with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit HS. Very athletic build with good present strength and room for more. Outstanding runner, 6.53 in the sixty, shows big range in centerfield, has good arm strength and makes on line accurate throws. Right handed hitter, good shift into contact with a short and compact swing, loose swing that gets extended through contact well, nice swing plane, squared up well, has improved as a hitter since last evaluation and has the tools to keep improving still. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida International.
