Andrew Moore is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-5 207 lb. frame from Flovilla, GA who attends Jackson HS. Outstanding young pitcher's build, high waist, strong with plenty of physical projection left. Long and loose arm action in back with some whip coming through, creates good leverage and maintains his direction well. Upper 80's fastball, topped at 92 mph early, gets nice sinking action down in the zone, gets fastball to both sides of the plate. Still developing consistency with his curveball release, shapes and velocities vary, might be a future sinker/slider guy with adjustments. Has a chance as a two-way player at the next level, right handed hitter with a good shift into contact and good present bat speed, swing is long but with lots of power potential. Showed his arm strength well from the outfied, 7.02 runner. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.
