Alexander Andalia is a 2018 OF with a 5-11 178 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Miami Southridge. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short and quick steps moving towards the ball, high energy actions with twitch to movements, creates extension out front from a high release point, shows quick arm and nice carry out of hand. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even and balanced stance, utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Coils through load and creates nice torque into contact while remaining balanced. Generates nice bat speed through the zone with rising line drive contact off the barrel, shows ability to hit to all fields and does a nice job of incorporating lower half and a nice finish through the ball. Named to Sunshine East Top Prospect List. Very good student.
