AJ Bayus is a 6' 180 pound 2008 corner infielder and outfielder from La Mirada, California who attends Servite High School. He has a strong build with a large frame and has sloped shoulders with room to add some muscle. Bayus has good balance in the infield and is very aggressive taking ground balls. He has good hands and solid footwork to handle the infield very well. He is light on his feet and makes the routine plays very well. At the plate, he has a narrow base with a slightly open stance and stands tall. He has some bat speed through the hitting zone and creates good back spin which drives the ball to the gaps. AJ has an idea how to hit and chops down on the ball. He has a good upside who is a good student as well.
