Max Dineen is a 2018 OF/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Pennsville, NJ who attends Pennsville Memorial HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with more to come. 6.70 runner, solid outfield fundamentals, uses his lower half well and gets on top of his throws, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance, rotational upper body swing, long and loose swing with good bat speed, hits the ball to all fields and can drive his pitch. Gets out of the box quickly and uses his speed, 4.29 home to first and 4.44 on a turn. Solid all around player. Good student, verbal commitment to Virginia Tech.
