Brandon Alshaer is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Stockdale. Alshaer has medium sized frame with a stronger build. Defensively he has athletic actions in the outfield with good footwork to the baseball. Alshaer has good arm strength up to 85 MPH with some carry on his throws. He has solid outfield tools. At the plate, he starts with an open stance and a high hand set. He has a sweeping swing with some bat speed. Alshaer has some strength in his swing and battled at the plate in the games portion of the showcase. He has some hitting tools to work with and develop. Good student.
