Connor Goodman is a 2019 3B/RHP, IF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Miami Beach, FL who attends Miami Country Day. Goodman has a medium sized frame with some strength. He showed solid actions on the infield with good footwork. Goodman showed soft hands with clean transfers and a clean release. He showed arm strength up to 82 MPH with some carry on it. At the plate Goodman starts with a wide base with a high hand set and high back elbow. He has a quiet minimal load with a simple trigger to start his swing. Goodman has a repeatable swing and made lots of barrel contact. He showed some pop and has some strength in his swing. Goodman pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a shorter arm action. The arm works and he has some arm speed. He creates some hip/shoulder separation and threw his fastball for strikes. Excellent student.
