Cooper Crunick is a 2019 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Canandaigua, NY who attends Canandaigua Academy. Large frame with strong, well-proportioned present build; good physicality throughout. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.05 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance with high back elbow, spread out with good balance. Consistently very loud contact throughout, lots of bat speed, stays short to the ball and long through the zone with hands, hands work extremely well into swing. Consistently barreled the ball into the air to the pull field, projects for consistent HR power. Worked out defensively in a pair of spots. Primary catcher, good lower set with flex, gains ground out of crouch well with quality footwork, shows very quick release with quality arm strength, clocked up to 78 MPH and popped as low as 1.95 seconds. Showed well in the infield as well, does a good job fielding out front, has quality one-step range to both sides, maintains balance through footwork, threw accurately from multiple arm slots and showed solid arm strength, clocked up to 83 MPH across the diamond.
