Dalton Cribbs is a 2020 UT/RHP with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from St Augustine, FL who attends Pedro Menendez HS. Lengthy frame with a younger look and plenty of room for physical projection. Primary utility who worked out from the infield. Lower three-quarter arm slow with deliberate actions. Developing arm strength from the position with a full arm path to release. Graded out best on the mound with an online arm action and full arm path. Leg lift up to the belt with an online landing foot. Threw from a three-quarter arm slot and works both sides of the plate rather easily. Fastball shows heaviness and has confidence in the breaking ball. Loose arm with a low effort delivery and pounded the strike zone. Repeats mechanics well though he will throw across his body occasionally. Curveball has short life and 12/6 shape to it. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Inside path to contact with a contact-oriented approach. Looking to spray the ball to all fields and can do so with the barrel head. Good student.
