Zack Michael is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Apex HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 6.82 runner, has athletic actions in the outfield and comes through the ball well, showed good carry on his throws from a short and compact arm action. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a deep hand load, rotational swing, looking to pull the ball. Also pitched and has prospect tools on the mound. Works from the stretch from a high 3/4's arm slot, long and loose arm action, has some effort at release. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with good life, challenges hitters with his fastball. Curveball showed sweeping depth in the low 70's, also has a change up. Excellent student.
