Zachary Lester is a 2018 C/3B, OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from McGregor, TX who attends Mcgregor HS. Medium frame, slender build has plenty of room to put on additional strength as he continues to get stronger. Developing actions behind the plate with good carry and accuracy on his throws down to second base. At the plate, starts with a wide base, high hand set, and a slightly closed off stance. Does a nice job of getting the barrel going to the ball, good bat speed. Consistent line drive swing path that is repeated well. Will see more consistent barrels as he continues to find balance in his swing. On the mound, throws from a very short compact 3/4 arm slot. Pitches to contact and did a nice missing barrels. Will continue to see development as he grows and matures.
