Garrett Houston is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Juliette, GA who attends Tattnall Square Academy. Large frame with slender, athletic present build and lots of projectable room for growth remaining. Long limbs with good athleticism throughout. Works very fast on the mound, grabs the ball and goes while filling up the strike zone. Generates good plane to the plate from a higher arm slot, gets downhill well and uses lower half very well through delivery. Fastball worked 82-85 MPH with good sink down in the strike zone. Mixed in a very sharp, swing-and-miss curveball with 10/5 shape and sharp break. Got quick outs and was impressive throughout outing. Good student.
