Damon Fountain is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Lake Charles, LA who attends St. Louis Catholic HS. Tall and lean athletic build, long legs, good present strength with more to come. 6.62 runner, moves well in the outfield and gets behind the ball, short and quick arm stroke with lots of raw arm strength, good on line carry. Right handed hitter, short and compact swing with quick hands and good present bat speed, good jump off the barrel middle of the field approach, tends to stay on his back side a bit. has hitting tools to continue to develop. Very good student, verbal commitment to Tulane.
