Thaddeus Huber is a 2018 RHP/SS with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Kearney, NE who attends Kearney. Medium, athletic frame with quality build throughout and solid projection remaining as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.26 seconds. Primary pitcher, compact arm action with quickness and some fluidity to high three quarters arm slot, gets downhill with authority and good lower half drive. Online through delivery, fastball worked 80-83 MPH with good natural heaviness and arm side life. Elicited several weak ground balls on the pitch. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and very good depth. Pounded the zone effectively. Sets up to hit with good balance, even stance to the plate, leg lift trigger with whole field approach. Shows quality bat speed throughout swing, slightly lofted path with good strength to drive the ball, shows good ability to take the ball the other way when necessary. Moves well to the ball in the infield with range and athleticism, fields cleanly and transfers cleanly. Clocked up to 79 MPH across the infield with solid carry. Named to 2016 Great Lakes Showcase Top Prospect List.
