Albert Thurston is a 2020 OF/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia West HS. Medium frame with athletic, solid build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.33 seconds. Hands set low pre-swing, pull-side approach, wants to lift the ball into the air, has some raw power there, shows bat speed there, good hitting tools with adjustments. Worked out defensively in the outfield, short steps to the ball with good balance, creates momentum to and through the ball, full arm stroke on throws, clocked up to 75 mph back to the infield. Very good student.
