Colton Moats is a 2021 MIF/2B, 3B, SS, OF, UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Wilson, NC who attends Fike. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.59 seconds. Hits from even, narrow-based stance with hanging short leg lift trigger, whip to barrel through the zone, has legitimate bat speed, separates well, brings lower half and gets the barrel out on line drive plane, good hitting tools overall. Worked out in the infield, solid footwork with range to both sides, works through the ball well, fields clean and stays balanced into throwing mechanics, good accuracy across the diamond on throws. Very good student.
