Gavin Ayers is a 2019 OF/RHP/SS with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Kennewick, WA who attends Kamiakin HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.07 seconds. Sets to hit choked up with leg lift trigger, compact hand path inside the ball with up the middle approach consistently. Incomplete shift into contact with lower half, line drive swing plane with barrel control to use entire field when necessary. Handles barrel well consistently and will drive the ball more with continued strength gains. Worked out defensively in the outfield, shows good footwork to and through the ball with twitchy athleticism. Fields cleanly and throws from lower arm slot back into the infield, throws clocked up to 69 MPH. Very good student.
