John Nimeth is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Jackson, NJ who attends Red Bank Catholic. Medium frame with broad shoulders and a strong build. Primary right handed pitcher with a side step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather and utilized lower half well while driving to the plate. Lands in line and carries momentum. Deep arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball produced good downhill tilt through the zone with heavy actions in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 83 miles per hour. Displayed good feel for an 11/5 breaking ball with tight spin and late depth. Consistently landed breaking ball to the bottom of the zone in both positive and negative counts. Consistently attacked the strike zone and induced weak contact. Named to the 2018 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase, Top Prospect List.
