Creighton Hansen is a 2019 RHP/1B, 3B, IF, UT with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Liberty Christian. Large frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple side step to medium leg lift delivery. Stacks back side at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Long, loose arm circle at separation and released from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball produced solid downhill tilt through the zone with some running action to arm side in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 miles per hour. Maintained arm speed with a curveball offering that had 11/5 shape with tight spin and late depth. Flashed a changeup in warm ups that had some sink with fade to arm side. Consistently repeated mechanics and changed speed with fastball/curveball. Kept hitter off balance and effectively stayed off barrels. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and high back elbow set. Shifts into contact with aggressively linear actions. Loose path to baseball with a slightly lifted plane through extension. Primarily looked to work to the middle of the field and pull side gap. Excellent student. Named to the 2017 South Underclass Showcase, Top Prospect List.
