Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly open stance and simple heel up trigger. Coils hands slightly at load and works to contact on a loose, inside path. Employed a slightly leveraged barrel plane through extension producing good lift off the barrel when attacking the baseball out front. Also pitched working exclusively from the stretch. Simple leg lift and creates coil over back leg at balance. Worked to the plate with drop and drive lower half actions. Deep arm circle at take back and released fro a high three-quarters slot. Fastball generated solid downhill angle through the zone in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 83 miles per hour. Fastball flashed occasional cut to glove side when getting to the side of offering. Curveball had 10/5 shape with solid spin and good depth in the low 70's. Utilized a straight changeup as primary off speed pitch that created good sink to the bottom of the zone in the mid 70's. Consistently attacked the strike zone and showed develop feel for each edge of the plate and outing continued. Excellent student.
