Dalton Plattner is a 2018 LHP/ with a 6-4 160 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Cardinal Mooney HS. Extra large frame with very long limbs and a high waist; lean build with plenty of room to add physicality. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a high leg kick above the belt. Lower three-quarters arm slot and creates good angle on the release. Good extension through his lower half and throws across his body. Fastball has short arm side run to it. Long arm action and repeats delivery well. Changeup was thrown with very similar arm speed and delivery. The pitch also had downward sink to it and was used primarily as an out pitch. Mixed in a breaking ball that had 10/4 slurve-type action to it. Can use the pitch to throw for strikes. Deceptive and can hide the ball well. Good pickoff move to first base Threw a lot of strikes while showing good pitchability by mixing speeds effectively.
