Bryce Schares is a 2019 RHP/3B/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Gilbertville, IA who attends Don Bosco HS. Big and strong athletic build. Fast paced rock step delivery, gets his hips coiled well at the top of his delivery, drop and drive mechanics to the plate with a deep arm circle in back and a mid 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, gets gradual arm side running action and will get some ground balls. Tends to slow his arm significantly on a soft mid-60's curveball. Left handed hitter, exaggerated open stance with a long and loose swing with good extension out front, uphill approach and looking to pull and lift.
