Korry Howell is a 2016 MIF/ with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Homewood, IL who attends Homewood Flossmoor. Large frame with a lean, athletic build and wiry strength. Projects for additional size and strength. Ran a 6.41 sixty-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with smooth, athletic footwork and extended range to each side. Funnels from a slightly deeper position with clean glove actions. Primarily released from a three-quarters arm slot, but also showed the ability to throw with accuracy from multiple arm angle while on the run, topped at 85 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly open stance and toe tap trigger. Generated good shift into contact with linear lower half actions. Primarily worked to the middle of the field on a loose path that produced some lift through extension. Generated best jump off the barrel when letting the ball travel to a deeper hitting position. Good student. Named to the 2017 National Pre-Draft Top Prospect List.
