Jacob Gonzalez is a 2020 SS/3B/2B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Glendora, CA who attends Glendora. Long and athletic build, projects well physically. 7.12 runner, has smooth actions defensively with soft hands out front, loose arm action with projectable arm strength, second base tools and actions defensively. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a leg lift trigger, low effort tension free swing, is on plane with the ball for a long time, high contact swing, hits to all fields with line drive contact. Will keep improving with additional strength and physical maturity. Very good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi.
