Kyle Hess is a 2018 OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Mt. Joy, PA who attends Donegal HS. Medium build with good present strength. 6.65 runner, has a strong arm in the outfield with young outfield footwork, strong run/throw tools that can keep improving. Left handed hitter, hand drop load, creates bat speed with his strength well, upwards swing plane and can create top spin, keeps his swing pretty short and direct, has the potential for lifting the ball and developing some pop, mostly pull side contact. Very good student, verbal commitment to Pittsburgh.
