Kaden Frommelt is a 2023 C/1B/IF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Marion. Recorded a 7.29 second sixty yard dash time. Large and physical frame with obvious strength present. Primary catcher with a low and even set up, very simple operation overall and stays low throughout. Gains limited ground with the footwork, mechanically sound process and has a rocket arm. Recorded accurate throws up to 82 mph. Arm strength is a real tool. Secondary infielder, gets the ball out quick and moves well for his size. Surehanded with the glove, can play a corner position and offers some defensively versatility. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and a high hand and back elbow set, utilizes a small stride forward into contact. Shows very quick hands and legit bat speed, can elevate with ease. Simple and quiet operation but he produces a ton of power from it, took multiple balls to the fence on a line and left the yard a handful of times. Produced consistent loud contact during his round. Complete player who offers exciting offensive upside at a premium position. Great student. Named to the 2022 Fall Midwest Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
