Alex Ha is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends North Gwinnett HS. Medium and physical frame with strength present on the build. Ran an 8.08 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, sets up on the first base side of the rubber, starts windup with a side step up to a high leg lift, takes arm back to a loose arm action up to an extended ¾ arm slot, stays online down the mound uses limited effort at release, velocity did dip some from the stretch. Fastball is straight and topped out at 81 mph, was able to work to either side of the plate with his slider that was continually down in the zone, nice overall feel of the strike zone with a two pitch combination. Secondary first baseman, sits back on the baseball, sure hands out in front with clean footwork at the position, average arm strength topping out at 77 mph from first base. Righthanded hitter, sets up with an upright stance, flashed quick hands as well as some strength to contact, will cut off at times but showed some jump off of the barrel when squared. Good student.
