Dalen Hainline is a 2016 1B/OF with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Spokane, WA who attends Shadle Park HS. Large frame with strong, sturdy frame; good strength throughout body. Posted a 7.30 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits with big time strength and power in his swing. Has serious intent when he steps into the box, leveraged swing with power to all fields. Quick hands to and through the zone, makes consistently very loud contact. Good balance and bat speed. With more consistency in lower half, could see big time home run power emerge. Worked out defensively at 1st base, showed solid athleticism and actions around the bag with comfortable footwork. Very good arm strength, with throws to 2B and 3B topping out at 81 MPH. Very good student.
