2021 Sunshine Northeast Showcase
Rocco Abdinoor is a 2022 2B/3B/SS/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Edgewater, MD who attends St. Mary's. Abdinoor works from a strong broad frame with great speed, posting a 6.96 60 yard dash time. From the infield, he successfully fielded the ball out in front with a full arm action and accurate throws across the diamond. Cleaning up the footwork should further increase Abdinoor's range. Starting from a slightly open stance offensively, he displayed a direct compact path to the ball with solid lower half rotation. Abdinoor has some juice to the pull side which should continue to improve as his swing gains more consistency.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
