Taj Muhammad is a 2020 1B/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Somerset, NJ who attends Franklin. Medium frame with strong, sturdy build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.50 seconds. Hits from narrow-based stance with even base, leg lift trigger, tends to drift to front side a bit, steeper entry to the hitting zone, showed all-fields approach with good barrel skills, wants to leverage the ball into the air, showed good hitting tools overall. Worked out at 1st base, hands work well, footwork is solid, stiffness to arm stroke, clocked up to 70 mph across the diamond.
