Xander Stephens is a 2020 RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview. Big and strong build. High leg lift delivery, stays on line and in sync well, long and loose arm stroke to an extended 3/4's arm slot, pretty sound delivery with the ability to repeat. Mostly upper 80's fastball, can reach back for more when he wants it, gets nice running life on his fastball and fills up the zone with it. Change up is a very good pitch, bit lower slot occasionally but big fading life with nice arm speed and deception. Has feel for a short power slider and lands it well. Has three live pitches and the ability to throw them for strikes. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Georgia Southern.
